I recently purchased two AMAZING items from Torrid. I have been wanting this shrug, cardigan type thing the day it came out and I finally buckled. I have to say that this shrug is even more amazing in person. The print is more aztec than it shows in the pictures. It is also some of my favorite spring colors of coral and turquoise. I paired the shrug with my sheer top from Pure Energy from Target and my fringe leggings from Forever 21+. I also have been lacking on my accessories lately so I went crazy with my jewelry. I wanted to look like a gypsy.
Shrug: Torrid (sold out online, but available in stores)
I bought this fabulous maxi from lane bryant about 2 weeks ago ( maybe its still too new for website because I can't find on there) and I had to have it. The dress reminded me of the leopard maxi they came out with last season. The leopard one I bought is a 26/28 and so is this one...BUT it runs so much smaller. I was a bit self conscious in the new dress because I don't like how tight it is on me. I got over it. I love the colors in this dress. So bright and so fun for Spring. It is reminiscent of neon which I am all about.
I paired the dress with my old metallic coat from Macy's because I thought it kind of gave the dress an edge. I wore lots of jewelry and my new neon clutch from Target. I also just had my hair high lighted by my amazing hair dresser Le Ann Evans. I get a lot of questions about where I get my hair done and who does my color. Well Le Ann does, and I never stray. She is in Anaheim Hills at Alexanders Salon.
Lately, I have been not feeling so great. Not being at a full time job kind of makes me depressed. That being said, I also haven't really been dressing up. I am a firm believer in that I want to do this blog and I don't want to post a forced outfit. I think attitude can really shine through. Anyways, I am picking myself up and out of this funk. I had a mini interview with some big important people yesterday so I took some quick photos.
I get asked about this jacket all the time. I got it at macy's during the christmas season. It isn't really so much a jacket as it is a cardigan. It is super comfortable and really stretchy.
My entire outfit is no longer available BUT I have found some very close matches.
