On Wednesday (check her out every Wednesday at 6p.m.) I did the Cher Rue show. It was such a blast. I got to do the show with veteran blogger Marie Denee of the Curvy Fashionista and Mark from Remarkablogger. The show was about blogging and new trends in blogging.
On top of loving Cher Rue, I got to speak about my new passion of blogging and my lifelong passion for fashion. I also sat with a blog idol of mine, Marie Denee. She blogs full time and rocks the plus size fashion world. I hope to follow in her footsteps.
As usual, I didn't bring my camera, which is ok because I was able to get some pics, thanks to Cher and Marie.
Outfit
Jacket: Lane Bryant (from about 2000)
Leopard Heart: Betsey Johnson
Rings: Torrid
Earrings: DIY
Boots: Torrid
Belt: Torrid
For my outfit, I wore my favorite new trend of mixing patters. No one would ever really think that leopard and plaid would go together but in my head, it sure did. My dress was from target and as I said on the show, it isn't a plus size piece. Ladies, no matter what size you are, just try things on. You never know what is going to fit.
I did a very basic make-up. With the lips being the focal point.
Make-up
Lips: Gash from Urban Decay with MAC red pigment for sparkle
Eyes: Naked Palette
Cheeks: Ambering Lights from MAC
Eyebrows: Cork from MAC
For me blogging is a creative outlet. I was hesitant to post some of these photos because they are not very flattering of me, but at the end of the day...that is me. Double chin and everything. It is important to me to show FASHION over a size 24. Torrid only goes up to a size 26 and most other places a size 24. The options for over a size 24 are very limited; however, just because they are limited it doesn't mean it is impossible. I hope all shapes and sizes follow my blog and get some inspiration from it. <3
