OOTD>Neon Mini

I purchases this amazing mini skirt from Forever 21...and let me tell you, I LOVE IT!! I got it for I think $9.80.  I have always been so into neon and can never find anything in my size.  I am showing two different looks.

The first is more casual and not how I really envisioned wearing the skirt.  Yes, I envision my outfits, plus I was experimenting with my hair and I didn't love it.  Ok, the outfit.

Skirt: Neon mini from Forever 21
Top: Leopard print scarf from Torrid
Sweater: Boyfriend Sweater from Macys
Leggings and Boots: Torrid

What do you think?

Next, I wanted to wear the skirt again for the Curvy qt fashion show that I attended (I will be doing a separate post about) and needed to dress it up a bit.  UNFORTUNATELY, it wasn't exactly what I wanted again.  I wanted to do a sheer tight or mesh tight with my over the knee boots, but I was at my moms and didn't have them in my possession.  Ok so outfit:

Top: Target Striped maxi dress (tied and tucked in to make look like a shirt)
Blazer: Target
Skirt: Forever 21
Leggings: Forever 21
Boots: Torrid
Necklace: Nordstrom Rack  ( LOVE IT)

What do you think? Which outfit/hair style do you prefer?

OOTD>Rock Gal

I hate my pictures lately! So So So sorry for the quality.  The pictures have been taken on a camera phone which its good for a camera phone but not great. Until I find or get a new camera, it is all I can do.

I wanted to do a very quick OOTD. My family and I went out for an early Christmas meal and it was delicious.  I had to get ready quickly, so I did a dark burgundy lip and light make-up every where else.  I also didn't do my hair as you can see.

For my outfit, I wore a very blousy black top from Casual Plus and some Tripp black pants from Torrid and my cozy heels from Torrid.  I also wore this great hummingbird shirt from Forever 21.  I had to purchase it in a 2X and it did not fit my arms. So I cut slits in the sleeves to give way to the mighty arms.  I also wore a denim jean vest that I made out of an old denim jacket from the Gap a million years ago.  I wanted to throw on some denim so the outfit didn't look too dressy.  Last but not least I wore my ruby frog necklace from target.

OOTD>violet beauregard

I wasn't going to post this outfit BUT it got a lot of positive feedback on my tumblr, so I thought what they heck.

I would have liked to have changed my hair and added some jewelry, but sometimes less is more.  I have to admit, I felt a bit inspired by Violet Beauregard.

Outfit details:  I think its safe to assume that I love Torrid.

Dress: Torrid: size 4
Tights: Torrid size 3/4
Shoes: Torrid size 11 (they didn't have my size 10)

A quick side note, I did not think that the belt or the tights would fit me but the tights are really generously sized and could fit a much bigger size.  They were SOOO comfortable and easy to get on.  I adore these tights.

OOTD> A sicky turkey day

Hello friends,

I wanted to do a quick OOTD post.  I went shopping at torrid the other day and picked up a couple of things.  Two of which I am wearing.  I apologize for my hair and make-up in these pics, I have been feeling pretty unwell and haven't had motivation to do my hair.  The make-up is difficult because again, been so pale and poorly that I can't muster up elaborate make-up either...ANYWAYS.

OOTN-Rock your Curves pt 2

Rock Your Curves had a second part of the event, which was more of a formal club night.  I have been saving this amazing jacket I purchased at Macy's for a more formal event (on sale now).  I paired it with the velvet sweetheart dress from Lane Bryant and some VERY comfortable shoes from Torrid which are on clearance...thank you very much.

this is me getting really mad at my husband for joking  around during picture time

I don't like following any fashion rules...so I paired my gold jacket with silver and red jewelry.  My purse is from Wet Seal like a million years ago. I can honestly say, that I was having the worst hair day of  my life...so I ended up with a messy side do.

For my make-up I used NYX glitter palette, Naked Palette from Urban Decay, and Gash lipstick from Urban Decay mixed with Ruby Woo from MAC.  What do you guys think?

The event was a great time.  To check out photos from the event go to the following links:

OOTD>Rock Your Curves part 1

I had the pleasure of attending Rock Your Curves for their first year.  I have to say that I had so much fun and it was nice to be a part of such a loving and supportive environment.

The Fashion show was amazing! Rosie Mercado did an impeccable job hosting and was very quick on her feet when certain aspects of the show weren't runway ready.  The atmosphere was loving and cheerful. This was some of the models first time walking the runway and did amazingly.

The designers showing on the runway were: ROCK YOUR CURVES VENDORS

Some of my favorite runway looks were
