Loopy over Karmaloop

I often think if I ever stumbled upon a giant pile of money how fast I could spend it.  Well I think 5 minutes is the appropriate answer.  I have always had an unhealthy love affair with karmaloop.  Karmaloop does not offer plus sizes...sizeists! But their shoes and accessories make me weak in the knees.  Now I literally could have posted like 500 things I want from Karmaloop, but I am only listing the things I would get if I had some expendable money right now.

I have been dying for two big ticket priced item things...a pair of Jeffrey Campbell's and a pair of Dr. Marten.  I    have done some research and heard the Lita bootie is pretty comfortable.  So naturally, I want a Lita Boot.

The glitter black would be my first choice.  I would also get a pair of Dr. Martens in a mens because I am a woman's 11 and Dr. Marten doesn't make an 11 for women.

Ok so now just some random photos of everything else I want from Karmaloop. Keep in mind friends, other than the shoes all the accessories are under $40.00!

I also would be so psyched for those flamingo earrings!  I really want this flamingo top from Asos
and I could dress all in flamingo!!! Hot Pink mini skirt...oh and the multi glitter jeffrey cambell's!

OOTD> Another Simply Be>Peplum Style

Hi Everyone.

I have so much exciting news I can't even stand it. First, I am Skorch Magazine's best dressed. (yay) and I know this may seem like an odd segue but I was also promoted to Skorch Magazine's Editor in Chief.  The two are unrelated, so before you start thinking it, I didn't pick myself to be the best dressed.  hehe.

Now on to the outfit.  I mentioned in my last post that I made a big purchase at Simply Be.  Well one of the items was this AMAZING Peplum dress.  I absolutely LOVE it. I felt sexy, elegant, and trendy. ( hums to myself...these are a few of my favorite things)

For any girls that have been contemplating getting anything Peplum, I highly recommend it.  There is something so feminine about having the little extra flare around your hips.  I paired this dress with a Forever 21 sheer leopard half cardigan thing.  I also was brave and skipped nylons/leggings and had my legs out.  I was in Palm Springs, so to wear any clothes at all was WARM.  I also wore my trusty Torrid wedges.  I was at a Casino so I needed to able to walk in my shoes and my torrid wedges are so comfortable.

OOTD Double Feature> Simply Be

I recently made 4 purchases at Simply Be USA... Ladies, I have to say.  I am obsessed.  I was obsessed when I was in England and now that it is available in the States...I am so happy.  The big pro about Simply Be is the sizing.  They go up to a 28 and it fits like a 28W not a 28 Jr.  The other HUGE pro is all the fricking cute stuff! It takes a little bit longer to arrive but who cares.

My first outfit pic is what I wore to the amazing Ninja Betty and the Nunchix show.  All the greats were there...Tracy from Domino Dollhouse/Chubble Bubble Blog, Nikol from Turquoise and Tangerine, Joy Nash from Fat Rant, Frankie Sin, and all of our husbands.  The show was at cool flamenco bar in LA called El Cid (fat friendly). It was a great time and the Nunchix killed it! I unfortunately did not take proper outfit pictures that night.  BUT I did snap a couple inside.

I wore my amazing new high lo shirt from Simply Be. I couldn't be happier with the shirt.  It is a great fit and so versatile.  I could zip the shirt all the way up and wear it to work or unzip it a bit and wear it out.  I paired the skirt with a sequin black skirt and my dolce vita tap shoes.

The next outfit I wore to Mother's Day Brunch.  I have been wanting colored jeans for a while and Simply Be has the best colors! I know I went with red and everybody has red, but I love red and I love wearing red lips...so I thought I would see how they fit and if I like them, I would get more colors.  I ordered the pants in a 28.  I always order up especially in pants, because I have a big belly and hips. On these pants, I should have ordered my actual size and in pants I am usually a 24 or 26.  As you can see from the pics, the pants were pretty big on me.  Not jeggingish (new word) at all.  The waist band is great and has a bit of elastic for ease of wear and the legs are stretchy.  Needless to say, I am psyched that I have these pants.

I paired my ASOS high low top with the pants and the same necklace as the night before...oops. The ASOS top is also a bit big.  I know in the pics, it looks a bit tentish but I kind of like the oversized look.  Let this be a lesson to anyone skeptical about ordering from ASOS...yes they only go up to a size 22, but the clothes run big. I also wore my new Lane Bryant gladiator heels...so comf!

I definitely think you guys should check out Simply Be! I am hooked...what do you think of the looks?
