OOTD>Did someone say glitter?

The other night I had so much fun at the ninja betty andthe nunchix show.  It was at a very fun club in West Hollywood called Club Eleven.  As most of you all know, one of my favorite things in this world are glitter and sequins. It just so happens that it is also the nunchix favorite thing.  So naturally, I was head to toe in sequins.  I wore one of my favorite thrift shop items, a sequin blue ombre puff sleeve jacket. I LOVE this jacket.  I was about 50 pounds heavier the last time I wore it, so it was a bit big and boxy but like Gisela Ramirez says…Fuck Flattering. I also wore my sequin black top I purchased at an outdoor outlet in England, my torrid sequin mini and knee high boots (for comfort). 

This show was amazeballs and for those girls and boys that haven’t checked out the nunchix, you need to.  Stop what you are doing and check them out.

Trashy gals

I often wonder how I would dress if I a.) had an unlimited amount of money b.) could walk in any heel height c.) could fit in all plus sizes.


My style can sometimes border on the slutty/trashier side.  While I am not a slutty or trashy person (anymore..kidding!) I find myself with an alter ego.  I love trashy fashion, but I also love preppy fashion, gothic fashion, boho fashion, really...I love it all!


Today, I admittedly am ashamed I haven't been posting more; was inspired by the trashier side of my alter ego.  I have been listening to Hole all day and really want to bust out a fur coat and put runs in my nylons.   Instead, I made some outfit collages of some trashy girls clothes that I would love to wear.


First up! The infamous FUCK FLATTERING look.  This girl will wear whatever she wants no matter what the size.  Torso out and legs out does not even begin to describe this confident fashionista.

Next up is the street walker...and no I don't mean the girl you need to hide from Hugh Grant..I mean this lady is out on the street fully glammed out no matter what time of day.  You will probably find her walking around Melrose Ave searching for her next vintage piece to add to her collection.

We now have the office slut...every office has one.  This lady pushes the boundary of what is ok to wear to work.  She loves draping herself in uh-um pearl necklaces and showing a bit of peekaboo to the gentleman at work.  Christina Hendricks has nothing on this ladies non-stop curves and office swagger.

Lastly, and undoubtedly the most inspired by Hole is the teenage whore.  This young powerhouse likes to experiment more with edgy fashion.  She loves a short hem line and throwing on her fling of the days varsity jacket.  This girl will do anything to be prom queen.

OOTD-photo shoot day

I was booked to do make-up for a photo shoot on Sunday.  Usually when I am doing make-up, I like my make-up to be on point.  So I tried my new NYX glitter palette.  

1. I did a normal black smokey eye.

2. I then took a dark brown and went over the top of the black shadow to give it more of a super dark brown look. 

3. I took the glitter and used it on my eyelid.

4. I contoured the crap out of my face with a brown shadow and then used orange blush.

5. I used my lady gaga for MAC nude lipstick and glass.  

For my outfit, I wore my VERY comfortable Torrid leopard leggings and my VERY comfortable Torrid boots.  I love these boots and leggings so much.  My favorite types of clothes are comfortable but still cute.  I also wore my new Owl fringe top from Torrid.  So basically I was head to toe in Torrid which was not intentional, just how I made my outfit.  The owl shirt is a Torrid size 4 and as you can see, it is quite big.  I love the fit, it can be thrown off the shoulder or pulled down for a little cleavage.  My leggings are a size 3 and boots are a size 11. 

I realize these aren’t the most flattering pictures of me…or should I say my 900 chins, but I am fat…and I have a double chin…deal with it.
